The crash of the Russian Airbus which crashed last week in the Sinai desert is ninety percent certainly caused by a bomb.
So says an anonymous member of the Egyptian research team that the black box of the aircraft study told Reuters.
The research team announced yesterday that there was a noise in the last second before the crash. The sound that is recorded by the cockpit recorder, according to the Egyptian is most likely caused by a bomb blast. He did not say anything about the possibility that it was not a bomb.
British and American intelligence suggested last week that the Russian device probably has crashed after a bomb attack which was committed by the terrorist movement IS. Presumably the explosive smuggled into the aircraft by a baggage handler at the airport in Sharm el-Sheikh.
