The Fiscal Inlichten- and Investigation is desperately looking for someone who has tipped the service two years ago about "massive bribes" in construction. The FIOD call has placed in the local newspapers.
The tipster sent on February 1, 2013 a letter to the FIOD Limburg region. He or she called herself "analyst, consultant and activist" and claims to have been involved in real estate transactions. The letter goes on bribery, which "have occurred within a comprehensive network of businesses and individuals.
'Biggest ever'
For example, the letter said: "For these services, these people were paid more than the names on CDs encoded The extent of these activities is probably the biggest that has ever occurred..."
The detailed descriptions of abuses in the construction and property sector for the FIOD reason to investigate the particulars mentioned in the letter. The department wants writer answers: anonymity is assured.
