The rent for social housing goes from 1 July with an average of 1 percent. The lowest incomes (below 34 678 euro) is the rent increase is slightly lower: 0.7 percent.
Last year Aedes already made agreements on limiting rent increases with the Tenants, the interests of tenants. "We put our money now to the word," says Aedes chairman Calon. "People with low incomes have hardly any rent increase this year. That's a good thing."
