THE HAGUE - The Dutch lower fuel prices in the popular holiday countries are much lower than here, according to a Monday updated overview on the ANWB site.
In Germany and France riders pay gasoline 26 cents a gallon less in Belgium 23 cents, 44 cents in Spain and in Austria even 47 cents less.Only Italy comes close with a price of 1.57 euros per liter, 4 cents less than in the Netherlands.
Diesel drivers are expensive place in Italy. A liter costs are 1.41 euros against 1.25 in the Netherlands. In France and Belgium, Dutch 4 cents per liter less lost than at home, in Germany 13 cents. Spain and Austria dangling down as regards diesel prices by 1.06 and 1.04 euros.
