Police are investigating an attempted arson at a supermarket in the Zaandam district Poelenburg.
Which store the last few weeks was the centerpiece of nuisance in the neighborhood youngsters.
A spokesman for the police would have a neighbor saw someone trying to start a fire at the supermarket. There were trash bags with garbage put together against the facade of the building, but there were no visible traces of fire.
It's been a turbulent few weeks in the district. Young people behave towards intimidating residents and find the limit on the confrontation with police.
The municipality has taken a number of measures. So there is a ban on assembly for the district and there is additional surveillance.
There are now twelve arrests made. In addition imposed an exclusion of a number of young people.
