More than 25 years after the mysterious disappearance of a British toddler on the Greek island of Kos, the police are again investigating the matter.
The 21-month-old Ben Needham disappeared in the summer of 1991 while playing outside. He was equally escaped the attention of his grandparents.
The boy from Sheffield was not abducted, as his family originally thought. Greek and British police have evidence that he has become the victim of a fatal traffic accident. That reports Sky News.
Panic
A now deceased crane operator would have pleaded guilty to the boy's death. He would have hit the fledgling Needham and his little body buried in a panic on an olive plantation. A survivor confessed last month to the police.
The owner of the olive plantation the authorities after several days of negotiations authorized for excavation work. Which have now erupted in full force. Or that already has produced something, is not yet known.
