NS is doing everything possible to entice travelers from the full rush hour trains. Prices for season tickets in the off-peak hours are therefore more expensive next year.
Single tickets, day tickets and day return on train routes will be adjusted to inflation and rising on average by slightly more than 2 percent.
NS has decided this in consultation with the consumer, the carrier reported on the website.

The rates of single tickets, day return and a part of the subscriptions increase by January 1, 2016 by an inflation and the increased usage of infrastructure ProRail NS passes on. Subscriptions range free, the peak hours, the Border Subscription and Always Free averaged 2.20 percent.
