The building of the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) has been cleared for some time after the discovery of a suspicious package. It turned out to be a false alarm.
The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) was called in to investigate the package.
It showed that it was not an explosive. '' It was a bundle of papers, which appeared to have been put down in an unusual place in the building, "said a police spokesman.
A part of the area was deposited.

Also in the police station in Huizen found a suspicious package. Again, it turned out to be a false alarm.

Haarlem research with bomb-sniffing dogs as a precaution was done to a suspicious object in a train. This turned out not to be explosive and forensic investigation took the subject for further research.
