Was always suspected that Russia was behind the assassination of the spy Aleksandr Litvinenko, but it has never been proven.
Until today. And Russian President Vladimir Putin would have given his consent.
The former KGB spy lived in London and worked with the UK security. Litvinenko was poisoned with polonium-210. He received a dose of the poison on October 16th, 2006 and another on November 1, 2006. A few weeks later he died. Litvineko had fled in 2000 after Britain, after he revealed the actions of the secret service.
