The Dutchman Romano van der Dussen, adhering in Spain for thirteen years, is released. He is by the Spanish Supreme Court acquitted of rape, NOS reported.
Van der Dussen was convicted of raping a woman and robbing and sexually assaulting two other women in Fuengirola. His case was reopened last year after a Dutch lawyer collected evidence that he could not have committed the rape.
Tens of thousands of euros
Earlier, tens of thousands of euros collected through a crowdfunding action to free Van der Dussen. The amount was to pay litigation Romano to get out of jail.
