After five years, the police still managed to identify the body that in 2011 in the Gelderse Wekerom was found.
Forest workers found last may an ID on the place where the so-called ' skeleton ' at the time, was found by Wekerom. In doing so, could the police looking for family. A DNA match found that the 38-year-old man without a place of residence or stay.
The human remains were found in a parcel of woodland on 21 October 2011 on the grounds of's Heeren Loo, between Amersfoort and Apeldoorn. The police did extensive research and there was even a skull reconstruction made in Scotland. Also the media spent there extensive attention. There followed dozens of tips, but the identity was not obsolete.
The 38-year-old man was last seen in 2009. There are during the investigation at the time found no evidence of a crime. The body of the man was buried in the municipality of Ede in 2013.
