To give some flavor to non-alcoholic beer, manufacturers still seem to add alcohol to drink. The food watchdog Foodwatch has created anger in Germany about that procedure.
That manufacturers indicate the presence of a little alcohol in very small letters is not sufficient justification, says the organization.
In the Netherlands, there is 0.1 percent alcohol added to alcoholic beer, reports the Knowledge Institute Beer. In Germany is 0.5 percent, according to the institute. In Italy and France, beer without alcohol even contain 1.2 percent alcohol.
